![]() TFAS is honoured to be part of F-17 Fandi Ahmad’s Academy of Football Excellence year-end celebrations. TFAS provided a game station for the F-17 Family Challenge 2013 – a Telematch Event for the whole family. Participants from 4 teams took turns to have a go at Table Football (Subbuteo) in the form of penalty shoot-outs against each other. Telematch points awarded to the winning teams at the ‘Table Football (Subbuteo) Penalty-Kick’ station were then accumulated to points gathered at the other 5 game stations to determine the overall Telematch winner!! Fandi Ahmad, Singapore’s favourite footballing son, also tried his hand at Table Football (Subbuteo). |
The newly-appointed LionsXII head coach personally hand-picked Luke Lim (one of TFAS’ new crop of Junior players) to play a friendly exhibition match.
As the match ended goal-less, it was Fandi vs Luke in a penalty shoot-out! And it was 10-year-old Luke who ended up victorious i.e. 3-2 winners against the legendary Fandi Ahmad … Great job, Luke!
TFAS President, Tan Kok Wee, also presented Fandi with a specially hand-painted Singapore Table Football (Subbuteo) Team to wish him all the best in the upcoming MSL season with the LionsXII.
TFAS would like to thank F-17 management, especially Coach Tan Li Yu, for his kind support in providing the necessary logistics that made TFAS’ presence possible at this event. TFAS looks forward to more of such collaboration with F-17 in the near future.
