The SG Table Football National League
The SG Table Football National League welcomes all avid Table Football players who are gamed to take up the challenge to bid for the coveted position as the League Champion of Singapore.
The SG Table Football National League used to be known as the
SG Table Football Premier League and the SG Table Football Championship League.
It has gone through several changes since its inauguration in year 2013, each time with the objective to provide a better competitive environment for the players, aiming to provide better opportunities to learn and grow with each other, and to become better players.
The latest revision of system is to hopefully, provide participants with a more complete and playing condition each time they attend the League sessions. In brief, each session shall be played in a SWISS League format of competition involving all players present. This allows everyone and equal number of prescribed games (at least 4). League points will then be awarded with respect to the position each player managed to attain at the end of the session.
A more detailed explanation of the Points award system is as follows:-
SG Table Football National League – System
Format : SWISS Format mini-tournament for each League session
(for a better understanding of the Swiss-system tournament, could refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss-system_tournament)
Number of Rounds of play : min 4 rounds
Points award :
1) Positional Points – points achieved according to the position of the player at the end of the session.
ie: last player in the table gets 1 point, 2nd last gets 2 pts and so on.
2) Bonus points for Top of Table positions – The top 3 players will get additional points at the end of each session
ie: the Top player gets extra 3 pts, the 2nd gets 2 pts & the 3rd gets 1 pt.
3) Consistency Points – Players who attends at least 12 games per term (3 months = 3 sessions = at least 12 games), will be awarded with additional 2 pts for each term.
ie: player who attend and play at least 12 games by attending all 3 sessions in the term, will get 2 additional points for that term, regardless of end position.
